12 slider buns
6 oz deli meats turkey and ham, or sliced chicken breast
3 oz turkey pepperoni
4 slices provolone cheese
1 head romaine lettuce
1/3 small red onion or sweet onion
1/2 green bell pepper
1/2 cup banana peppers more to taste
1 tbsp butter melted
1 small garlic clove finely minced or microplaned
Italian dressing
2 tbsp red wine vinegar
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp Greek yogurt
1 tbsp parmesan cheese
1 small garlic clove finely minced or microplaned
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
1/4 tsp salt more to taste
black pepper to taste
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Line a sheet pan with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. Slice the slider buns in half and put the top half on one side of the sheet pan (bun tops facing up) and the bottom half on the other side (inside of slider rolls facing up).
In a small bowl quickly whisk together minced garlic and melted butter. Brush garlic butter over the top of slider buns.
On a cutting board, chop deli meat and add to the bottom half of the slider buns. Top meat with provolone cheese.
Toast the sliders in the oven for 10 minutes until bun tops are golden brown.
While the sliders are toasting, chop romaine lettuce, onion, bell pepper, and banana peppers together. Add to a medium sized bowl.
In a small bowl, whisk together dressing ingredients until combined. Toss the chopped salad in the dressing.
When the sliders are finished toasting, top the meat and cheese with the chopped salad and finish assembling by putting the tops of the buns onto the rest of the sandwich. separate with a knife if needed and enjoy fresh!
